City Hunter - Knife Protocol

So this came in the mail today! Scored it off the latest Youth Attack update and I'm glad I bought it once it went up for sale because this tape sold out really fast.This was recorded live on a 4 track and mixed by Will Killingsworth.The packaging was designed by Mark McCoy and it's just so fucking aweseome! It's cool they stuck with same VHS horror theme packaging like the demo.Being a fact that it's just a live recorded tape, it features unheard songs from the band.I would call this a teaser tape for their upcoming LP titled Deep Blood.I'm stoked to hear more from these guys in the future and hopefully see them tour.

Combat Knife

I was lucky enough to catch this band at Three Links in Dallas with GAG and it was an awesome show.Combat Knife is a punk band from Olympia formed with some of the members of GAG and they are coming out hard.Really raw, hard-hitting stuff and they are not afraid to give the finger to anyone.This is definitely a band that's worth checking out.So far they released a demo back in 2014, an EP cassette titled Extreme Real Pain, and 7' titled Extreme Combat released on Video Disease Records and Warthog Speak.I picked up their 7' along with the EP and a shirt at the show.Looking forward to seeing what these guys come out with next.
